I had one friend who claimed she would do anything in the world for me, but the first and only time I ever asked for a small favor (to attend a 30 minute presentation) - she would not return my call.
And this is after I attended (and promoted) multiple seminars and meetings for her.

The good news is that I don't have to waste any more time on that one sided relationship - there are too many other people to help out who will truly appreciate it!
